On this occasion I will give a tutorial to overcome the not enough storage is available to process this command when we do flash on Xiaomi phones using MiFlash. The appearance of this error warning is sometimes annoying because Xiaomi phones will fail to flash ROM and as an effect, the phone will be soft-bricked even to hard-bricked. Errors that sometimes arise usually occur when we flash the latest version of Fastboot ROM using MiFlash. The first time I got this error was when flashing MIUI 8 fastboot rom on the Redmi Note 3. As a result, RN3 became a brick and could not live.
Cause MiFlash Error Warning
After browsing here and there, stopping to websites specifically discussing Xiaomi, stopping by Xiaomi forums, I finally found a solution to resolve the issue. At first, I thought maybe the fastboot ROM that I downloaded didn't match, or maybe the Redmi Note 3 hardware was having problems. It turned out that the survey proved that there were no problems with either of these. The main cause is MiFlash which has expired.
Generally, the version of MiFlash that is used is the 2015 version. The version that I have used so far and is running smoothly when flashing Redmi 2, Redmi 3, and Redmi Note 4, but failed to flash the Redmi Note 3 with an error as above. After spending a few hours visiting several websites and forums, there are those who have the same problem and they say we have to update the MiFlash used. Finally, to overcome not enough storage, download the latest version of MiFlash on the official Xiaomi website and install it immediately in the hope that this problem can be resolved quickly.
But apparently this did not produce results alias failed again brothers and sisters. The latest version of MiFlash precisely 2016.08 version actually gives a new problem that the download mode of Redmi Note 3 is not detected. This is called an added problem because the flash process can’t even be done. So, I went back to searching every web and forum that discussed this problem for hours.
Finally Found the Solution
A user on one of the Xiaomi forums who suggested using MiFlash version 2016.04 to solve this problem. Frankly, to get this version of MiFlash is tricky. At least it takes time to search on Google. So that your time is not wasted in searching for MiFlash version 2016.04.
It is recommended that MiFlash and Xiaomi Flash installed on your computer be uninstalled first before installing this version of MiFlash so that there are no problems going forward. Once installed, please flash your Xiaomi cellphone again as usual, this time the flash process will not be error again with the words "Not enough storage is available to process this command" or overcome the not enough storage. It is recommended to use the 64-bit version of Windows to flash because according to users on Xiaomi forums, if you use a 32-bit version of Windows when using MiFlash many problems are encountered. That's a tutorial that can help you overcome not enough storage on your device.
