You’ve heard all about it, Apple will release the latest operating system for iPAD on the 12th of September this year. But do you already know what to expect from this iOS11 other than the assumption that your iPAD experience will be enhanced? Luckily for you we have the beta version and we’re here to tell you the features you should look forward to.
- Control Panel and App Switch combo : Yes, these two are now no longer separate entities after the makeover. To access, double-tap the home button or simply swipe-up from the bottom side.
- Redesigned dock : The edge-to-edge dock you’ve so accustomed to is gone and is replaced with the sophisticated-looking dock that is identical to MacBook. It’ll also be equipped with 3-apps you often use on the right side of you iPAD‘s dock.
- Dedicated Files app : In iOS 11, the previously known iCloud Drive is replaced with Files app. This app collects virtually any data you’ve created across the apps in your device along with the ones stored in your iCloud Drive. Not only that, it also allows you to connect using other similar services.
- New keyboard layout : Typing symbols and numbers is now easier and more convenient than ever with iOS11. Best of all, it also features quick access, and all you have to do is make a tiny-swipe motion on the key, and voila!
