Initially well-known for its military use, the drone technology has quickly evolved into an invention that can also be used for everyday use. Yes, for the past few years, the interest in drones has skyrocketed. It is no longer only used for military and research purpose because now even the ordinary guy next door can use it as an extension for human desire to have fun, innovate, and many more.

What was once considered by many as an incredibly expensive and highly unattainable technology can now be purchased by the average people. Statistics show that more than 4-millions of commercial drones have been sold in the recent years and the number is expected to rise to more than 16-million in the next three years.

This evolution is a product of the continuous effort of many developers to optimize such thrilling technology for everyday use. Many amateurs and professionals alike use it to film aerial footage for their art projects – all of which could only be achieved in the past by using expensive helicopters and cargos, while many other drone owners are now using it to send help to flood and hurricane victims.

As the technology continues to improve, humans will find numerous ways to put it to a good use, and it’s exciting to see what the next development will have in store for these creative minds.
